Chain Dunk is a free game published by Anchit Labs. This policy explains what the game does — and does not — do with your information.
Chain Dunk works entirely on your device and collects nothing, with one optional exception: if you choose to use leaderboards in the Android app, your Google Play Games name, player ID and scores are sent to Google so your scores can be ranked. Leaderboards are optional, and the game is fully playable without them.
The browser version at anchitlabs.com/chaindunk collects no data at all. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, no third-party SDKs, and no leaderboards.
The app behaves the same way, except for leaderboards. The app uses Google Play Games Services so you can compare scores with friends and other players. When you are signed in to Play Games, the following is shared with Google:
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Your Play Games player ID | To identify your entry on a leaderboard |
| Your Play Games display name (gamer tag) and avatar | So other players can see who set a score |
| Your scores and distances | To rank you on the leaderboards |
This information is handled by Google under the Google Privacy Policy. Anchit Labs does not operate any server, does not receive a copy of this data, and cannot see your email address or any other account details.
If you decline Play Games sign-in, or your device does not have Play Games, no data is sent anywhere and the game still works in full — you simply see your own best score instead of a leaderboard.
Your Play Games friends list is only read if you separately grant permission, and it is used for one purpose: showing which friend's score you are closest to beating. It is never stored or transmitted anywhere else.
Your high score, best distance, coins, cosmetic unlocks and volume settings are saved locally on your device only, so they are there the next time you play. This data never leaves your device. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage, deletes it.
None. Chain Dunk contains no advertising, no analytics and no tracking of any kind. Nothing you do in the game is profiled or sold.
The app requests no special permissions. It does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, location or files. Sharing your score creates an image on your device and hands it to your phone's own share sheet — you choose where it goes, and nothing is uploaded by the game.
Chain Dunk's content is suitable for all ages, and its store listing is directed at users aged 13 and over. The game collects no data by itself. Leaderboards depend on a Google Play Games account, which Google manages according to its own rules for younger users.
Local data is removed by uninstalling the app or clearing its storage. Leaderboard scores are held by Google against your Play Games account; you can manage or delete Play Games data for this game from the Play Games app, or through your Google Account.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
