Anchit Labs is a personal site of small web projects run by Anchit Mittal. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to understand how the site is used and to show advertising that keeps it free.

What we collect

• Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies and records anonymised usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location (country/city), device type and how you arrived. IP addresses are not stored by us. See how Google uses data from partner sites.
• Advertising. We may display ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.
• Things you type into our tools. Tools such as the Baby Name Finder and Resume Generator run entirely in your browser. Names, shortlists and settings are stored in your browser's local storage on your device and are never sent to our servers. Clearing your browser data removes them.

What we don't do

• We don't ask you to create an account and don't collect your name, email or phone number unless you email us.
• We don't sell personal data.
• We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13; the site is intended for adults choosing names or building resumes.

Cookies

Cookies are small files placed on your device by Google Analytics and Google AdSense as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site's tools will keep working, though some ads may be less relevant.

Third-party links

Pages may link to Google Play, GitHub, social networks and other sites. Their privacy practices are their own.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR in Europe or the DPDP Act in India) you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data. Since we hold almost none, the practical steps are to clear your browser storage and cookies, and to use Google's opt-out links above. For anything else, email us.
