    The Resume → LaTeX Converter turns an existing resume (Word, PDF or Excel) into clean, ATS-friendly LaTeX code, or lets you build one from a blank form. Applicant tracking systems parse plain, well-structured documents best; LaTeX gives you exactly that, with consistent spacing and no hidden formatting. Everything runs in your browser — your resume is never uploaded to a server.

    2. Check the extracted sections — name, contact, experience, education, skills — and edit anything that looks off.

    Is my resume uploaded anywhere?
    No. Parsing and generation happen entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server, and nothing is stored after you close the tab.
    
  
    Why LaTeX for an ATS resume?
    LaTeX produces a clean single-column PDF with real text (not images or tables), which applicant tracking systems read reliably. It also keeps spacing and fonts consistent no matter who opens the file.
    
  
    I don't have LaTeX installed. How do I get the PDF?
    Paste the generated code into Overleaf.com (free account), click Recompile, and download the PDF. No installation needed.
    
  
    Does it work with two-column or designed resumes?
